Women - Meet every other weekend to walk or run 3 miles or more at Sawyer Camp, Crystal Springs while we continue to move south with our women's group. Our group is social but fitness is our goal.
Some of us walk every weekend. Some mix walking/running. Some are training for a specific goal like the Kaiser Half Marathon in February, Bay to Breakers in May and Kona, Hawaii 5K/10K/Half and Full Marathon in June.
You must be able to walk 30 minutes already. The pace doesn't matter. Women-only! NO Fundraising! Walk it or run it.
Paces include:
Walkers who can walk for at least 30 minutes
Recreational Runners - 10-15 min/mile - sometimes compete
Runners or Race Walkers 8 - 15 min/miles, compete often
All ages, all abilities welcome! Drop-ins encouraged. Organized by certified running coach Stephanie Atwood.

Sawyer Camp is a great place to run or walk. You can also ride bikes here but no dogs are allowed. Our group of women walks or runs.
For fitness buffs, it has marked 1/2 miles and rolling terrain. I was there in the rain and it was lovely as the rain fell on trees while I was relatively protected under their canopy.
