First time to attend and enjoyed all of the workshops that I attended. It was well-organized and the crowd (speakers and attendees) were engaging inside and outside the sessions. Looking forward to PodCamp Toronto 2014!

Absolutely fantastic - learned so many things to help me improve my online presence. Speakers gave 110%. Organizers did an amazing job and the volunteers were great.

Thanks for such an informative weekend, Podcamp 2013!

Content was worth its proverbial 'weight in gold'! Only trick is finding the right content for you at each hour.

I guess so but I think people may like what you say?? I didn't know I had about 7/8 people to compete with!!

I'll have major jet lag, just returning from Thailand the night before, but I wouldn't miss it.

    February 17

    • Andy McIlwain

Awesome! Looking forward to seeing you there, Carol.

Drat. Have come down with a severe deadline & will be spending the weekend glued to my keyboard instead of having fun at PodCamp!

    February 22

    • Andy McIlwain

Ah, sucks! Priorities are important though. Good luck with the deadline. :)

  • Waleed Nassar

Yes, will probably make it on both days. Quick Q: How do I find the times of the sessions? I can find the listings only here: http://2013.podcamptoronto.com/...

    Thanks!

Excited to go as well! Never been to PodCamp - seems like they cover a lot of content.. Curious to know how everything is scheduled. Can anyone explain what an "unconference" is from a PodCamp experience? Finding what they say on their site to be a little vague. Are there any particular rules or requirements in order to attend the discussions?

    February 12

    • Andy McIlwain

Hey Mario, there are no rules or requirements for attending the conference. You attend the sessions you're interested in attending, and that's pretty much it.

      February 12

    • Mario Mauro

      And that's that! Thanks Andy.

      February 12

  • MsKitty

    Doesn't hurt to learn more!!

  • Karen Robinson

Damn. Would have love to join in! Unfortunately, I will be out of town. Do you post vids or something after? Thanks. See you on the next one.

    February 6

    • Andy McIlwain

HI Karen, we've been given the go ahead by the Podcamp organizers to record whatever we want, as long as we get written permission + release in creative commons. We'll let folks know when stuff is available. :)

Not sure what I'm getting myself into, but it sounds VERY interesting...

You're not alone. This will be my first Podcamp. I've been meaning to attend for the last three years, but never had a justifiable reason to go. We'll be newbies together!

Sorry - I'm teaching a WordPress for Beginners class that day with Camp Tech. Bad scheduling on my part!

Yes! Can hardly wait. I'm a writer, editor and soon-to-be official graphic designer, specializing in designing, editing and writing for the web. Also, just about 6 months into working with WordPress, I have lots to learn, and some to share!
