On June 10th from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, join us at Ryerson University’s DMZ (at Dundas Square, downtown Toronto) to learn about unit testing and how to contribute unit tests to Trac tickets and core patches.
WordPress Developers: It’s Time to Give Back!
As you know WordPress is open source software, and as such, its very success depends on the contribution of volunteer members of the development community to continue to evolve and grow.
There are hundreds if not thousands of tickets on Trac, the official WordPress bug tracking tool, that are awaiting attention and patches.
Are you ready to join us for a special WordPress meetup devoted to contributing back and helping the WordPress Core Development effort?
Let’s put the great developer talent pool in Toronto to good use to knock this number down.
Open to Developers of All Skill Levels
Whether you’re a developer who has never contributed to core, or a seasoned contributor, make a point of joining us.
We’ll help you find a ticket that’s appropriate to your level, and we’ll walk you through the process of submitting a patch.
This is a great opportunity to ease into open source contribution and start giving back to the community that has given you so much.
Driving? Parking is available under Yonge Dundas Square. Click here for details.
TTC? Accessible via Dundas streetcar and subway (Dundas Station).
Finding the Space: Take the escalator or elevator to the 3rd floor. Look for the entrance adjacent to the large glass Digital Media Zone window. Someone will be at the door to let you in.
