Introduction
I'm from the GTA-PHP group, and looking to see if our groups can do some events together. I'm good at PHP, but don't know much about Wordpress beyond installing and using it.
Are you an end-user, or a designer/programmer/consultant for WordPress?
I'm an end user and a programmer, but I haven't hacked on Wordpress itself.
What do you mainly use WordPress for? (eg. blogging, personal website, professional or corporate website, etc.)
Personal blog about programming.
How much experience do you currently have with WordPress?
I can get around in it, and I've fixed problems for client's WordPress sites a few times.
What are you hoping to get from The Toronto WordPress Meetup Group?
Collaboration with the GTA-PHP group.

Hey Vic, I just suggested a topic for a future meetup. Thoughts. I discussed this with Peter last week and he did not seem to be too conducive to it, but I hold a nationwide usergroup conference with GE every year. These 2 day conferences have a few hours on each day where best practices in my profession are discussed and we get lots of participation and practical information is able to be shared and distributed. I hope you can see some merit in my suggestion.
