I am an award-winning freelance writer, poet and author who moved here two years ago from New York. I have been published in "Chicken Soup for the Mother and Daughter's Soul" and my book. "Tooth Faerie Tales" was released in December.

What Elissa Hadley C. is saying about this Meetup Group

Last night was a wonderful gathering of extremely talented writers. Some suspected, some were surprised at their own gift for words. For me, as the organizer, it is so gratifying to hear the imaginative stories and vivid descriptive powers that were shared. It is a safe place and all of you are responding magnificently. I am honored to work with everyone. We had two walk-ins that were a boon to the evening with insightful and thoughtful reactions to the readings. We need to discuss this further, though, as the last sit-in writer turned out to be a disaster.
