Outdoor Survival Skills & Preparedness

Learn valuable safety & survival skills for the great outdoors, and for everyday disaster preparedness! Topics include how to construct shelter and fire, signal for help, communications device options, designing a survivl kit/bug-out bag, and some basic navigational skills!

Dress for the great outdoors, we go rain or shine! Bring a water bottle/bagged lunch/sunscreen/bug juice/sun hat/raincoat/outdoor footwear etc.

 

Notes: we ask for a donation of $10. that goes to our non-profit "Project Lost-Youth Survival" for at-risk youth camps.

    This spot is actually ttc accessible with a 15 m walk down the hill to the meet spot, 3 min on a bike...you can take the GO to 'Rouge hill.' station...then a short 10 m ride on the bus up to Sheppard & Port Union...all the busses out here have bike racks on the front..:)
