Grand Haven Art Festival, 10am-5pm
Held on architecturally historic Washington Avenue which offers views of Mother Nature's art, Lake Michigan, enjoy the outdoor art gallery featuring the work of 150 of the nation's leading artists as well as top local talent.
There is live music, food concessions and a Green Market featuring gourmet items.
Prices are set for all budgets; you will find hand-designed jewelry for $25 or a $30,000 metal sculpture.
Plus, register for a chance to win(no purchase is necessary) anoriginal artworkby potter Brad Patterson, Grand Haven native and award-winning artist. The prize is an 8" x 8” Allium imprinted plate paired with a 16" x 4" x 4" tall square Allium imprinted stoneware vase valued at$110.00. How to RSVP for This Event
WHEN you RSVP-YES, use the white box right there, the RSVP-comment box, to indicate if you might want to carpool. Then: add (as shown in Examples below) (1.) the town you live in & (2) the closest major intersection or other landmark info. This way those going can immediately tell (without multiple emails or comments) who they might be able to carpool with.
Examples: Holland near Major St & Major St.; Kentwood near 60th & zoo Ave (& near US131 & 68th St; M6 & Kzoo Ave; East Kentwood HS)
A Few Ideas for OPTIONS Before or After Enough Art Festival
-Walk the boardwalk together, maybe bring beach stuff & stay/swim
-Bring a picnic -Watch the sun go down -Hunt a bit in the neat shops
Dinner &/or Dancing, for example: Kirby Grill will open at 11:30 Saturday morning, and they have 3 restaurants, two of them do not require reservations…They have a west Michigan band called Outer Vibe that will be playing there at night, there is a three dollar cover charge after nine, if anyone is interested in dancing or just relaxing and hanging out.
FOR NEW MEMBERS & A REMINDER FOR “OLDER” MEMBERS:
Always have the Event Host’s cell# in yourphone before you leave for any event and - have the # even more than ALWAYS when the event involves driving a distance.
TO FIND THE PHONE NUMBER, always, when you RSVP-Yes for any event, read the fine print section, the only place where members of WSNF-After40 can see:
(1.) The Event Host’s cell number &
(2.) The exact meeting spot for the event.
Other private info such as a private address may be sent by email closer to an event & is sent ONLY to those attending.

-CHOOSE A MEET-UP “RESTAURANT” & TIME for our “ESSENTIAL WSNF BREAK” for girl-talk, food, drink &/or relaxation – probably Kirby Grill & around 3pm(Suggestions welcome!)
There we can also discuss – based on bringing your b suit, beach chair or other necessities –for any possible, later plans: more festival, shopping, beaching it, dinner, dance - or head-out!
