ABOUT WSNF-After40 (40-60's)

The #1 priority for WSNF is developing new friendships.

The #2 goal is to do fun things together  and/or to go to neat places and events as a way of  fostering #1. 

 If you want to develop new friendships, this is the group for you. If you are the kind of gal who wants everyone who attends, especially "newbies," to feel welcomed and have a good time, this is a group for you. If you make a couple close friends and will still attend some WSNF events, you fit right in! 

IMPORTANT TIPS WORTH UNDERSTANDING ABOUT ALL MEETUPS

Meet-up groups are started usually by one person who wants to do certain types of activities and find others who like the same thing. However, how the group is handled, how things are done, not done - depends solely on the ORGANIZER who pays $144 year for the website. Organizers may charge dues to help with the cost of the site. Some Organizers do not want leadership-sharing nor suggestions. Some, like me, WANT multiple Assistant Organizers and Event Hosts. Since having multiple leadership members is the best way to ensure that WSNF continues, if you are now or later willing to learn about and/or commit to 3-6 posts (create events) or Event Host per year, and learn how - easy after you do it once, PLEASE, let me know. No obligation to try it!

MORE INFO FOR THOSE WHO WANT IT

The focus for WSNF-After40 is MOSTLY women-type and/or women-only events. If an event allows for inviting male guests, or is specific to single gals only (both rare) - that will be made very clear at the top of the event desciription. I suggest members also join Happy Hour of GR for a coed group doing coed things. (There are a few married or like-married couples who belong to that group.) I belong to it and to many others.
