Special Movie Theatre Event: We Will Not Conform- The Battle Against Common Core

Fathom Events and Glenn Beck invite you to experience a night of action against Common Core when Glenn Beck’s We Will Not Conform is broadcast LIVE to cinemas nationwide on Tuesday, July 22.

This isn’t a typical show - it’s an interactive experience and a rare opportunity to make a real difference in America’s education system. We Will Not Conform is your chance to not only hear from experts like Michelle Malkin, David Barton, and others but to join LIVE with fellow theatergoers across the country to develop tangible strategies in the pursuit of enacting real change in our schools. By the end of the night, the brainpower, experience, and passion of cinema audiences nationwide will be captured in a unified plan of action distributed to all participants.

If you are passionate about sending a wake-up call to Common Core supporters, then don’t miss the chance to make your voice heard at this engaging event in cinemas nationwide!

BUY YOUR TICKETS HERE!

Our group will be at this event instead of our regular 9/12 meeting tonight.

We received some signatures. Henrietta and Victor were definately busier. I have unsubstantiated reports of "hundreds" at both locations as Tinseltown only had about 30 ish.

I was away on vacation. I hope to go to the encore on July 29th. Ron, how did it go "greeting" people on the way in?

It was informative but I think a follow up meeting to discuss what local groups are working on and doing would be great! Thanks to Rhonda in the Henrietta theatre who stood up as the leader and a point of contact. Hope to see everyone discussing CC soon.

I came away with a ton of good ideas for the group. Maybe next meeting we can take some time and spend talking about Common Core specifically, and discuss the action events.

Good to see as many people as there were. Especially since there were people from 15 to 65!

Not sure there was an action plan. Though I ponder if gathering us was the main plan.

Hi everyone: I'm looking at two homes tonight. Still looking for a home to buy. I have two left that look ok (so far). It's been a crazy almost two months shopping for a home. They want tons of money for homes that are definitely not worth it. Have fun everyone. See you at the next meeting.

Just an update, Tinseltown General manager said no way no how setting up at door. I am going to make up some cardboard signs and am planning on working from the back of my truck in the parking lot. Voter Registrations, Single Line Ballot No Common Core Petitions as well as email signups for updates on our group and local events. Look for the Black Suburban with the trunk open :)

Tim, I believe taking the 912 table cloth and placing it on a car hood would provide the same opportunity. If someone gets there early they get a prime spot people would have to pass.

Hey Paul, Adam the manager at Tinseltown I spoke with said that they may be setting up a table right at the door for us. I have been trying to confirm everything but the line there has been busy all day.

I hope to be there. Still looking for a ride. Keep up the good work Ron!

Regal won't allow us to have a table outside to get the petitions signed. However can someone step up and pass out flyers as people go in? We are organizing a voter registration drive and need to reach the people attending this event.

I will be going to Tinseltown and am coordinating getting a table setup at the door to do petition signing for the No Common Core ballot initiative as well as voter registration. I am planning on being there at least an hour early as well as be there after the show. See you guys there!
