NO LEGISLATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!
One week ago, we were all humbled by the presence of hundreds of thousands of bikers as they rode into DC to honor the lives we lost on 9/11 and to honor our Veterans. It was a true showing of Patriotism; one that the Will of the People hopes to display in Albany, NY next month.
Biker Patriots of NY ~ Will of the People is hosting a Freedom Ride on Albany on October 5th. We will capture the spirit and drive of Patriots statewide as we ride on Albany for our FREEDOM, for our LIBERTY and for our CONSTITUTION! Will of the People is not just a biker group, but a unified group of bikers, grassroots organizations (such as NY2A Grassroots Coalition, The 2nd Amendment Coalition of WNY, & The Constitution Coalition) and NY citizens just like you.
Every day that passes, the people who are elected to represent us only work to further their own agendas of greed and corruption. They ignore their oaths to uphold the Constitution of The United States of America and the Constitution of New York State. We ride to make our presence known, and make them aware that we have not and will not go away! We will not ignore their destruction of what should be held sacred! We ride because the TRAITORS MUST GO!
Staging for ALL NY counties in Albany is @12:30pm
KSU is 1:30pm; when we ride on the capitol!
LOCATION TBA at this time!
The ride is not limited to motorcycles, everyone is encouraged to join us, but we ask that all vehicles that aren't motorcycles please take positions behind the Ride Support Vehicles.
Refer to the groups Facebook page for up-to-the-minute information.
A note for those who are wondering why this event is on a Saturday:
- Our esteemed Legislature, who stripped away our rights with the passage of the unSAFE Act, is only in session from January through June each year. That's right, they have 6 months to wreak havoc and then they go home.
- So there is not a lot of benefit to having this event on a weekday - the Capitol and Legislative Office Building will be largely empty. And, many fine patriots won't be able to make it on a weekday.
- Therefore, we decided to have this event on a Saturday to maximize attendance. There will be media releases so it will be covered (to the extent that our media covers any display of patriotism, that is!) It needs to be BIG to get attention so invite everyone you know!
- We hope to have another event next spring when the Legislature is in session and REALLY get them quaking in their boots!
