Hi 9/12,
One of our members brought this workshop series to my attention. The first seminar was about responding to an active shooter. Here are the details on the next event coming up next week!

Emergency Management and Disaster Response - This lecture will present a discussion on emergency management and disaster response from an industry expert.  The process of responding to an incident and the importance of first responders will be examined and explained.  The cooperation between law enforcement and civilian responders will be analyzed.  The Incident Command System will be introduced.

The lecture will focus on real world examples of emergency management and disaster response including the response to the closing of the New York State Thruway in December of 2010 through Buffalo due to a snow storm, the crash of Flight 3407 in Clarence, NY in 2009, and the October Surprise snow storm of October 2006 in Buffalo.

When: Thursday, October 24, 7:00-8:30pm
It's free!
Where: Medaille College - 1880 South Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14618
