Follow-up on Common Core Forum and last meeting

From Ronn, one of our newest members, regarding Common Core and the Town Hall Forum in Caledonia on March 8:

I believe the meeting went really well today. Some of the take-aways for me were hand written letters to local reps, voter registration drive coupled with common core education, as well as if local democrat and republican are voting FOR common core, need 3rd candidate...

Last week, I met with the P2P group in Webster concerning Common Core.  They were just learning the foundations themselves and really couldn't answer many questions.  They did however clue me in to some bills being proposed and voted on in the NYS legislature about a 3 year moratorium on Common Core.  I am in the process of looking into these bills, finding out exact time frames, and seeing what can be done to support them.
