To all members and friends of the 9/12 Project past and present,
The St. Patrick's Day Parade is tomorrow at 12:30pm, and we have reserved a spot to march! We've paid the entry fee, we've received the agenda, and we're ready to remind Rochester who we are. We simply need more participants.
Right now, I see 7 people signed up on www.WeSurroundRochester.com. We need at least 15!! We have 12 signs and a banner to carry, so all hands on deck. We'd love to have 30 or 40 people with us. Yes, the temperature will be above freezing, but dress warmly and bring an American flag!
Parade starts at 12:30pm. We're supposed to start lining up at 11:00am at the intersection of East Ave and Sibley Place (east of Alexander St.). If you want to drop your car and hitch a ride to the site, we are meeting in the parking lot at the Culver Road Armory near Cobbs Hill Park. Be there between 10:30 and 11:00 to get a ride to the parade. We'll also shuttle people back to this parking lot from the finish line of the parade. My cell is[masked] if you can't find us, give me a call.- Tim
