We are an Activities & Social Group for Widows and Widowers Plus Our Friends. The majority of our members are widowed. Our original group was started on Dec. 8th, 2010. Only widowed individuals or those who have lost a significant other (because they passed away) are candidates for membership. We post activities : movies, dinners, brunches, trips, day trips, concerts, etc. Our Objective is to make new friends while enjoying the company of others who understand our loss.. We help and support one another in various ways. Including sharing information on contractors and other services. The group is maintained by it's members who are called " event organizers" All members are welcome to post activities as well as attend the activities posted. ALL members are encouraged to use their membership as a tool. When there is something you would like to do and would rather not do it alone post an event, ask others to join you. "You help yourself the most when you help others". Inviting someone to get out of the house is a huge help to many. An event can be posted with as little as three people attending. Click on the profile of the group organizer and ask for help we will always be happy to answer your questions. Looking forward to meeting you..
