9.3 miles Briones Regional Park, Briones Rd staging area

Alright.  I haven't gotten lost for the last two hikes.  I'm going for a record-3 in a row! I know Briones better than the back of my hand so I'm confident I can do it. This hike has got a few of the usual hills, but it will take us to some forested areas and to Bear Creek Trail which is beautiful and I rarely see. Come all ye fool hardy! I don't want to do this alone.

Hike rating: Challenging

Hiking pace: fast except uphill

This hike will leave PROMPTLY at the start time.

Each person will be responsible for himself - if you are unable to keep up with the group pace, the organizer will not be on the lookout for you. It is recommended that you obtain a map at the beginning of the hike in case the group is separated.

Lennie and I are running late. (TOTALLY Lennie's fault!). Please don't wait for us if we aren't there on time. We may explore Martinez (and breakfast) instead! :)

I am a little too scared to start with a "challenging" hike (given that I'm short and have small legs) but I will join another time.
