Crockett to Port Costa

Nice flat hike paralleling Carquinez Strait. I may bring my gimpy dog, Coco, so I might do only 3 miles and not go into Port Costa. That's not to say you can't. I'm sure some of the more experienced hikers will be along and will want to hit the deli across from the biker bar and swim the dogs at the beach.

Park alongside Winslow St and walk down to the trailhead.

 Hike rating: Easy

 Hiking pace: semi fast

 We will leave on time.

Efforts will be made to keep the group together, however the very slow and very fast may need to get back on their own.

Hi Chris! Good to hear from you. You pop into my head from time to time (last time was 5 days ago), so I'm glad you you're still with us. How's life in So Cal?

Eh. Hiking the mountains and going to the beach a lot is fun and the dogs love it, but I miss East Bay a lot.

It was a new area for us. Interesting to see the area from a different perspective other than the bridge. Nice folks and pups. Apologize for cutting in line to the WC.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
