Clark Road entrance Wildcat Canyon

  • Jul 19, 2014 · 8:30 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

Use alternate entrance and route in Wildcat Canyon. We should gather past the first gate.

Past the second gate are horses, and past the third are cows.

The route I'm planning to take does not have potable water, so bring plenty.  There should be water in a cow trough to cool down the dogs if they get hot.

I should have mentioned the distance; about 6 miles, hilly.

Can anyone tell me how long the hike is and/or what the expected time back is? Sorry if I missed this info. I'm new to the group and love hiking, just looking for more details since I live over on the peninsula and it's a good hour drive to get out there. (that's how much we want to find others + dogs to hike with!) Thanks

I don't know which route Sandra's taking, but Wildcat hikes are usually about 5 miles, 2.5 hours.
