Write-In East Regional Library

The East Regional Library has invited us to partner with them to provide a writing environment that is open to everyone. We have a meeting room set aside every Tuesday from 6 to 9 pm but you may come and go as you please. You do not have to stay the full time or attend every week. Again, this is a write-in where you are encouraged to bring whatever it is that you're working on. The room is along the back wall to the right of the restrooms. There are several outlets for laptops. Snacks will be provided but you can bring your own.

After participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) this past year I found the Wake County Libraries to be a great place to shut off the outside world and concentrate on creating a new world of my own. Plus if you hit a brick wall, there are plenty of resources at hand to help you break down any barriers.

From 440/beltline, take exit 13B and head east almost 6 miles. From 540, take exit 24B, heading east for almost 2 miles.

Turn Left onto Smithfield Rd (Hardee's will be on the right, Mc'Donalds on left). In .3 miles, turn Left again onto Steeple Square Ct (a blue sign will point the way). The Library will be the first building on the right.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
