This gathering is held every Friday evening with a rotating group of teachers. Ben leads the group on the fourth Friday of each month. The gathering includes 30 minutes of seated meditation, and is followed by an open discussion.
The guiding intention of this meetup group is to explore the practice of meditation, and hold a communal and supportive space for relaxing and tuning into the natural clarity, openness, and presence that is ever-here. Consistent meditation and mindful living supports overall health, well-being, and quality of life, as well as offering increased clarity and space for greater insight and Self-knowledge to arise. The general format of each gathering consists of 30 minutes of silent, seated meditation, with some guidance offered in the beginning, and that followed by an open discussion on the various different methods, aspects, and approaches to meditation. This group is open to all, regardless of how much experience with seated meditation one might have.
