The guiding intention of this mindful gathering is to explore the practice of meditation, and hold a space for relaxing and tuning into the natural clarity, openness, and presence that is ever-here. This gathering is held every Friday evening with a rotating group of teachers. Ben leads the group on the fourth Friday of each month. The general format of the gathering consists of 30 minutes of silent, seated meditation, with some guidance offered in the beginning, and that followed by an open discussion on the various different methods, aspects, and approaches to meditation. This gathering is open to all, regardless of how much experience with seated meditation one might have.
