This group is for anyone seeking self-awareness and a deeper understanding of oneself and others. The meditative technique of Walking-In-Your-Shoes (WIYS) is inspired by the Native American proverb: “You can never know another person until you have walked a mile in his moccasins.”
WIYS is a group practice that teaches one how to access deep knowledge from the body in motion. In these walking meditations guided by Joseph, WIYS can explore any dynamic in life, including life purpose, health symptoms, current challenges, family issues, romantic and financial blocks, creative projects, and even your pets!
The purpose of 'Walking' is to enable participants (Walkers) to gain clarity and compassion by attuning, in a deeply body-based intuitive way, to aspects of oneself and others. Within the circle of participants, we begin by walking in the studio, one at a time, focusing on a clear intention to explore something specific. What would it be like to Walk as someone else or to Walk a hidden aspect of your own life? Come see and feel for yourself!
In our Sunday gatherings, we will develop our capacity to attune to the body's wisdom. Together we will gain and give detailed insight into what would enhance the personal and professional lives of each participant.
