If you enjoy walking, nature and the company of nice people we are the group for you.

Denton Walking & Friends is an all-inclusive and supportive group and our goal is to encourage each other to be active. Participation in our walks, hikes and events is a great way to meet people in our community. Denton Walking & Friends started out as a walking group but has expanded to include other activities such as movies, dining out, music festivals, art shows, community festivals, sporting events, and many more fun local events. Our regularly scheduled one-hour walks take place in various parks in Denton County including Lewisville Lake, Highland Village and Corinth. We also regularly schedule 2 hour hikes in the Greenbelt Corridor Park East of Denton. Additionally, we schedule a "something different" hike at least once a month.

All fitness levels are welcome. Everyone is encouraged to walk at their own pace. Some of our walks are dog and/or stroller friendly and we try to indicate that whenever possible.

Also, we encourage full participation here at Denton Walking & Friends. We love to hear new ideas for walks, hikes or events.
