The North Texas Irish Festival will be held at Fair Park in Dallas the weekend of March 1 and 2nd. Weather permitting, I will be putting together a meetup to attend the festival on Saturday, March 1st during the day. We can take the train(s) (A-Train from Denton or DART from North Carrollton) to Fair Park or you can meet us there if you prefer to drive.
This is a dog-friendly event. I am told there are lots of dogs at this festival. Please keep in mind you must drive if you are bringing your dog. The trains only allow service dogs to ride.
Stay tuned for more info as we get closer to the date and we see what the weather looks like.
For more info go to their website: http://www.ntif.org/index.html
Tickets are $14.00 online or at Tom Thumb stores/$15.00 at the gate. If you are interested in this event please RSVP so I can gauge the level of interest. If you love celtic music, good beer, leprechauns, the Irish jig, the color green and shamrocks like I do (hello, my name is Pat!) then join me for a fun day at the Irish Fest!
Bonus: lots of walking!
