Mill Grove Trail/Audubon, PA

Update: To avoid problems with parking and animals by the pavillion - we will meet at the new location - Parking Lot by 422 overpass.

Thanks - Kathy

The Audubon Center has some very nice paved trails.   We will be walking for ~4-5 miles total.

For those of you with older dogs, it is fine for you to walk at a slower pace than the rest of the group or to leave the group at any time.

We will meet in the Pavillion parking lot at 3pm and leave the parking lot at 3:15pm.

Remember to bring water, insect repellent, pooh bags.   All dogs must be on a 10 foot or shorter leash at all times.

The walk will be cancelled for heavy rain only.

Kathy Pompe and her husband, Mike, will be leading this walk and you can reach them at

[masked] or cell - [masked].

PLEASE --  RSVP for the walk and remember to change your RSVP if you change your mind about coming.   That way we can allow waiting list members to come along and we do not wait for you to show up.

Please make sure to note the new meet up location. Pawlings Road lot by St Gabes just past 422 coming from Mill Grove. We can park there and walk toward Mill Grove. See you then!

The parking lot by St. Gabe's on Pawlings Road right next to overpass of 422 would work. We can meet there and walk towards Mill Grove passing by St. Gabe's cows, llamas, etc.

I did not know that Mill Grove did not let pets near the pavilion parking lot. I do not know where else to park. Does anyone know about the parking lot out by past St. Gabe's? If that works, we could meet/park there and head towards Mill Grove. We could walk for 20 - 25 minutes and turn around. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cindy is 11 so we don't walk 4 miles...more like 40 minutes or so depending on the heat etc. Mill Grove has NO PETS signs posted on the driveway before you get to the pavillion parking lot. I know walking around Mill Grove on the loop trail is fine with pets but am not sure if this parking lot is okay to meet?

Haha! Older dogs?.. I may be the one that has to end the walk shorter than the 5. I am getting back from vaca the night before, pending a full recup...and since it is a bit closer to me, one of my five and I would love to join!

I'll be volunteering at the Boyertown/Oley Bark For Life that day. Will you be walking in the winter? I've got events to attend with the group I volunteer for every weekend until Nov.
