Hi there,
Do you want to get some exercise? Do you want to exercise your dog? Do you want to make some new friends? Well then, grab your runners and come on out for a hike. This is a great way to meet new people, learn new trails and best of all get some exercise.
This is a friendly group for people who have flexible schedules, most of our hikes/walks are during weekdays. However, some of the walks are on the weekends. Most of the hikes are at a moderate level and require a moderate level of fitness. You must be aware of your fitness level before RSVPing. This isn't a group for people who are beginners or for people getting over injuries. All of the hikes/walks are on the North Shore and all involve mountain trails with elevation and rough trails. There are no flat easy walks. It is up to you to ensure you are able to do the walk. That said, as a group we try and watch out for each other and adjust the level of the hike. Please post a photo so we can identify each other.
This is not a professional group, this is put together by volunteers. The hikes are not guided by leaders. If you choose to join this group, you assume all risk and responsibility of your own actions and it is your responsibility to keep yoursef and your pet safe. It is your responsibility to be aware and to remove yourself from dangerous situations. The organizer simply arranges the place to meet up and is not legally responsible for any injury that could happen to you. You choose to attend and you must determine if it is safe for you.
Its content is only available to members.
To learn more, contact the organizer directly, or you can go ahead and join the group.
