A leisurely 5 mile circular walk starting at Sandy Lane Car Park (free) KT22 0NZ.
Nearest train station is Oxshott.
This woodland walk takes us through surprisingly wild countryside, considering its proximity to London. There is a little road walking but the chance to see some amazing homes. It is also very muddy in parts.
From the car park we head out to Queens Drive, this being the unavoidable small section of road walking before we head across the forestry tracks & under the A3. We continue on past Arbrook Farm & into woods heading to Black Pond, the largest pond on Esher Common. We then head over to Oxshott Heath & back to Sandy Lane car park.

You will need snacks & drinks for this walk as there are no opportunities to buy anything enroute. We will take a short break at Black Pond.

Dogs welcome.

£2.00 for WiSy costs.

Walking Safety: Walking is a great way to keep fit and generally very safe; however it does contain an element of risk. Before going on any of these walks you need to be reasonably fit and be prepared to be responsible for your own safety. You must wear appropriate clothing such as proper walking boots, warm and wet weather clothing and carry sufficient food and water.

Well done Elaine , the first WiSy walk leader to run two completely different walks in different locations on the same day . I think you must have one of those time travel thingies .
