I may not now be able to do the walk tomorrow, as had a small operation and have no energy. But would like to see everyone so was thinking that I may meet for a copy and then a short stroll round wake Hurst. So what time do you anticipate being at the coffee shop?

    January 18, 2014

    • Debbie

I have not broken new footwear in enough for 5 miles so will meet you for coffee and a stroll round Wakehurst.

I've had to change the venue for lunch to the Seed Cafe at Wakehurst Place as the pub won't let us go there ( they say they are going to be too busy on Sunday and it's not fair on their kitchen staff or the other customers ) .

    • Wilma

If anyone wants to go to Wakehurst after the walk I still have my NT family card so I can 'assist' with entry... As long as you don't mind being someone else for the afternoon... (and, erm, you'll need to be reasonably convincly female - or look under 18 - I'm afraid! :-))

Hi Jane , you do not need to be a Kew / Wakehurst member to come on the walk and the pub lunch , but there is an entry charge if you decide to visit the gardens afterwards .
