February’s free music show at Sunnyvale Library was so great we’re encouraged to try it on a regular basis.
“Park Avenue Jazz” performs regularly at restaurants and coffee shops in the area. They’ll be singing love songs from the 1920s through the 1950s. http://www.myspace.com/Parkavenuejazz
Ron and I will arrive by at least 2:45 to get front-row-center seats. Join us there then, or meet outside after the show by the statue of the man sitting on a bench reading “Platero y Yo.” We’ll take a good brisk walk for about three miles exploring Sunnyvale parks and neighborhoods, including the park where Martin Murphy Junior’s home once stood.
