At last, the fictional movie "The Valley of Heart's Delight" is available!!! In contrast to Harry Farrell's book which seems to lean to the belief that the real kidnappers and murderers of San Jose's Brook Hart were caught (and killed in California's last lynching, in St. James Park), the movie paints a picture of faulty investigation and the arrest and illegal hanging of the wrong people.

We'll talk a little bit about confirmed facts and other theories of this infamous incident, then see the movie, which I've been trying to obtain for a few years now.

Hoping for a bigger crowd for this film, we won't plan a group dinner or pot luck, but feel free to bring a sandwich or a supper for yourself that you can eat without a table. I'll provide the popcorn. Would be grateful for drink contributions and plastic cups and napkins.
