Western Greenway Run 5, 7.5, or 9 mi w/*waterfalls* and sunset

9.5 - 10 minute mile pace.

Meet at parking lot at Stonehurst/Paine Estate.

5 mile option:  run the Greenway up to Trapelo road and return to Stonehurst on the same path.

7.5 mile option:  run the Greenway to the Metropolitan Parkway North on the Lexington border, then R on the parkway, continue onto Forest, R on Beaver to return to Stonehurst.

9 mile option: Greenway to R on Mill street, then down through Beaver Brook N and S, L on Waverley oaks to R on Beaver, R to cut thru Cedar Hill trails then L on Forest to R on Beaver and R into Stonehurst. We'll be getting into dusk but as long as we keep pace we shouldn't need flashlights.

IF YOU INDICATE IN YOUR RSVP BY SATURDAY MORNING THAT YOU ARE GOING I WILL CACHE WATER FOR YOU ON THE ROUTE.  Please tell me your distance as this will affect quantities at each cache.

If you opt for the long route and have done it with me before, note that I've added some trail sections through Beaver Brook N that parallel Mill street, so now we have even more trail and less street sections, and they are great trails with some spillways (hey, urban waterfalls, they're lovely!).  So it will be even better than before.

OK, that was one of my best long runs ever! Seriously, you guys are great athletes and phenomenal company...I came home and I was like, you know, I'm actually going to survive my marathon training. I'm a little sore, hope you are OK, but still, it was a very good time. Next time I'm going to post longer distances--thanks so much for the feedback. Hope you can come to Devon's barbecue on the first, which is right after a fun race, here is the link: http://saintjudewaltham.com/5k-road-race-and-family-fun-walk Note there is a link for registration at the bottom, and a link to the RAW series page which lists all the races in Waltham.

Hey amy, we're heading out in a minute. If your running late you could meet us on the long driveway hill up to the high school-- jacks way.

Not sure what I'll do. I'll be a trooper either way.
