Yoga for Runners class

Taught by one of our own runners, Slava.

This is a weekly Yoga for Runners class held at Down Under Yoga, starting on Monday, July 1. Unlike our other meetups, please note: class fees apply.

Open to non-runners as well.

We will focus on building stability in key running joints, as well as developing range of motion for most efficient running stride. Class will also include injury-prevention tips, breathing techniques to build lung capacity, and meditation techniques.

      No problem, Devon. It's every Monday night at 7:30pm, so drop in any week this summer. It was a great turn out tonight. Kristen, Greg, Chris, and Alexandra came from WTR. Hope your arm is better - we can work on your strength/form in that class. :-)

      I think the individual class is $16 or $18, so the $25 for two weeks unlimited sounds good. I do yoga on my rest day, and I really like doing it the day after my long run. I think it eliminates/heals any tight areas that might have formed during the run.
