Teen run from Cafe on the Common 2 miles

Actually it's not just for teens--all ages/levels welcome. We'll run from the cafe to the river path, go west to Prospect Street, and double back along the river. Finishing up with one loop around the common to make it an even 2 miles; sprinting parts of the common loop encouraged but optional. Coffee/goodies at the cafe afterwards is also optional but highly recommended :-).

    Hi Ron, Amanda,

I just realized I have a conflict with this run this weekend. If one of you is comfortable leading the run, I'll leave it posted, otherwise I should cancel this post. Leading the run involves fostering a supportive, fun, and accepting spirit, checking the rsvp list before you head out, waiting up to 5 minutes past the official start time if there are latecomers, knowing the route, ensuring safety at street crossings, and making sure nobody gets lost/left behind. For this run we usually stop and regroup at the turnaround point at Prospect st, and again when we get back to Moody and cross the street. So if one of you would like to lead it please let me know, otherwise I'll cancel.

I'm happy to lead it. I take it the route is from the Cafe --> Down Moody --> To Riverwalk --> To Prospect (Regroup) and back?

I'm not particularly fast (around 11 min/mile in the summer weather) and I'm not sure how fast you guys will be going. Would that be too slow for your group?

I'll be bringing my son who is pretty young and he'll probably be at a 12 min pace. I'm expecting a leisurely jog :)
