We'll run from the cafe to the river path, go west to Prospect Street, and double back along the river. Finishing up with one loop around the common to make it an even 2 miles. Since it's an out and back we can spread out at different paces to accommodate beginner to advanced runners, but still start and finish together. Coffee/goodies at the cafe afterwards is also optional but highly recommended :-).
This is a great way to get into running, introduce your friends to the group, or just start your Saturday on a high note. All ages and levels welcome.
If you are hesitating to come, keep in mind that nearly every week we have beginning runners who use a run/walk/run technique. If you take walk breaks you will probably not be alone, and it's the best way to get into running. Well, at least, it worked for me. So come on out!
