Tue Early Evening Run

Since it gets dark so early, I am going to run on the River Bike trail a little earlier tomorrow. 4-6 miles. Anyone is welcome to join?
We'll come in right when the 6:30 group begins, so we'll get to socialize as well.

hey Slava thanks for hosting! I enjoyed the run--you timed it perfectly so I could chat with the 6:30 crowd when I got back. If I'd had the energy, I could have gone out with them and turned it into an 8-10 mile evening! Some other time perhaps :-)

What will be the average minute mile be? I run about a 10 minute mile and don't want to slow the group down?

Hi Kim, there is 6 of us signed up for 5:30pm run. We'll start out together and see who wants to run faster. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'll start out at 10min pace and probably finish with a 8min pace on the last mile.

Hi David, I would follow Alexandra's directions, if you are near East Arlington (east part of Mass Ave in Arlington. Or you can hop on Route 2 (which will be jammed), to 95 South, exit 20 on Main in Waltham, which will take you to Moody.

When I drive from Arlington Center I just follow RT-60 (Pleasant St) through Belmont and into Waltham (Follow the signs for 60W bc there are two turns) to where it connects to RT-20 (by a petco, CVS and Dunkin Donuts). Its a right onto RT-20 (Main St) and a left at the first set of lights onto Newton St. Then a right onto Pine (2nd set of lights).

David Miller, if it's east Arlington, try cross street and waverley in Belmont, then sycamore (cross into Waltham), warren, main, willow, grove, newton, pine to the muni lot. But even those roads will have snags at some intersections. But i've lived hear 15 years and it's the way I would go.

Getting into the lot is a little tricky - turn to Pine St, pass the cinema on the left, then the apartment building, then turn left onto the parking lot, then follow to the other end of the lot (passing under the parking structure).
