Beverly Canyon Trailhead - South Mountain Park

Description: Hike anywhere throughout the eastern end of South Mountain.
Difficulty: moderate
Total Distance: 3-5 miles
Start Elevation: approximately 1200 ft.
Elevation Gain: varies up to 500 ft
Drive Time: in town
Water to Bring: 1-2 liters
Meeting Time/Place: Meet at 5:45pm at the Beverly Canyon Trailhead, which is at the end of 46th Street south of Baseline Road. Meeting place will change between Beverly and Pima Canyon and the location will be posted at least a week before the hike.
Leader: Kathleen
Minimum Attendees Required: 3
RSVP By: the Sunday before by 5pm
Special Instructions: Bring snacks, water, flashlight and appropriate clothing.

Dear Kathleen,
I was at the south mountain last night and we waiting for everyone until 5:50. I joint another group and hiked 5 miles.
There was another gen with me and he was going to leader if there was more people.

My bad Kathleen, I saw Mark's comment and assumed he would lead if he came otherwise I would. But I should have posted that. Oh well, we'll try again next week. Hope you are feeling better Kathleen.

I am going to cancel the hike on wandering soles meetup since no one can definitely lead. You all can still hike but that's on your own and not a WS officially lead hike.

Apparently when the RSVP closes you can't sign on. It closes at 5pm on Sunday. I added you and your sister. I won't be showing up as I am not well. I have asked someone to step up and lead the hike. If no one officially takes the lead I will cancel the hike.

Joy, I'm not the leader, but if you say you'll be there I will wait and hike with you. I'll be the guy standing around the bicycle at the Javelina trailhead (west side of the indicated parking lot). Be sure to bring a flashlight, it will be dark before we are done.
