Description: Wet Beaver Creek is located north of Montezuma Well near the Sedona exit on I-17. The trail runs along open exposed trail for the first 2 miles, then descends down to the creek and extends a mile along a well-shaded footpath through the lush rock canyon. Swimming holes are in this area. We will continue on to one of the prime swimming holes in Arizona – the Bell Crossing known as the Crack. There deep water has carved a channel between narrow sandstone walls leaving a natural diving platform rock positioned over a pretty pool just right for diving. Please plan on spending 1 hour at the swimming hole. Bring a substantial lunch and we'll picnic together. After the hike we’ll stop at Rock Springs for a slice of their famous pie on our way back to the Valley.
