Once we all make it to the Trailhead the hike was a success. The weather while a little warm was beautiful and the scenery was spectacular. Above all the company was great and we all made it without any problems.

My car doesn't do well on dirt road so i would like to carpool. however, it will be me, my boyfriend, and my dog. not sure anyone can take a clean/well behaved dog :) if not, will meet you at the trailhead. sounds like the dirt road portion is not that long?

I am new in Arizona and new in hiking. I want to start hiking and appear that this is a good option due the “easy” classification on the trail. I lived in Casa Grande; I need orientation on the drive to the carpool and appropriate cloth or equipment
I do not have any “hiking equipment or cloth” Did jeans, sweater and sneakers is ok for this trail? Pardon my ignorance… I need help…

Rodolfo- There is a link to a map above in the first part, just below where it says McDonalds, if you click on there it pulls up google maps and you can "get directions" by adding where you are comming from to the meeting area for the carpool. Most people wear layers of clothes. Maybe under shirt, t-shirt then sweater/sweatshirt or jacket. Typically I wear light jacket, shirt then sport tank and peel away layers as I get hot or add back layers if I get cold. The weather is projected to be 66f for the high.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
