Reach New Heights

Cool, sunny, crisp. I’m not talking about my personality, but the weather forecast for this coming Saturday, when we climb to one of my favorite nearby overlooks, Maryland Heights, from Harpers Ferry. But that’s not enough. We’ll also go to another of my favorite overlooks, nearby Loudoun Heights for another angle. In between, we’ll traipse around the historic town and find nice treats to eat (or bring your own).

The full hike will be about 11 miles and require using your two feet for over 5000 feet of ups and downs. That’s quite a feet. This is a difficult hike (4.3 blisters) although you could cut it down to size if you wish.

Join us by being at the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Kiss & Ride lot at 8 am. Don’t join us by staying home or going elsewhere. Leaders are Vicky Hsu and myself.
