Cherry Blossoms & Historic Georgetown Hikes

As of last Friday afternoon, the forecast was for rain all day Saturday, and a sunny day on appropriately named Sunday. The lesson to take from last weekend is to never listen to bloomin' forecasts. My exorcism worked!

Saturday turned out to be gorgeous (low 60's, sunny) and 23 people braved this weather to see memorial DC at its most beautiful -- with the cherry trees at full bloom. (There were a million more people walking around on their own, but they didn't seem to know where they were going or to be having as much fun.)

Sunday was much more unsettled weather-wise, but no rain fell upon our small group of 7, although it kept threatening to give us a good soaking. We still got a great tour of the towne.
