Sainsbury, BT, Exxon and The Passport Service.

As an experienced entrepreneur and property investor, Martin has experienced many of the highs and lows of business and property investment over the years and remains a passionate advocate of small businesses and private investment.
Having developed a substantial high-yield portfolio of houses rented out to young professionals around Canary Wharf, he founded Nice Group – a fast growing property development and management group – along with two substantial joint ventures with large fund managers.
With a portfolio valued at over £150m yielding more than 10% gross per annum, Martin and his business partners sold 25% of their business at a valuation of £30m.

With profits derived from an earlier student advertising / publishing business, Max first began his property investment career by acquiring US subprime foreclosures in New York State, before focusing solely on the UK Below Market Value sector from 2007. Working directly with distressed vendors and internet generated leads, he has built up a portfolio of high yielding Sale and Rent Back and Lease Option properties with a strong emphasis on long-term sustainability and cash flow.
Having worked at Morgan Stanley in a previous life, Max also operates a finance house in London specialising in commercial bridging and private equity funding for insolvent development projects in the UK and emerging markets. To date, he and his capital partners have established a number of Guernsey closed-ended funds to support residential and infrastructure projects in countries as varied as Finland, Jordan and South Africa.
