Warrington Toastmasters - The Joy of Hats Meeting

This meeting will be a celebration of the hat and all members and guests should endeavour to wear a suitable hat during the meeting.

At certain times, you should expect to have to doff your hat and even throw it into the air in joy - so please be mindful if you're planning to bring medieval platemail.

If you have more than one hat, and don't mind another member borrowing it for the duration of the meeting, please bring it along - we're likely to need some spare hats.

Despite the hats, this will be a regular club meeting with prepared speeches, speech evaluations and "table topics" - a chance to practice impromptu speaking.

Please arrive between 7:00-7:15pm for a prompt 7.30pm start.

New guests are always welcome and it's completely free. No need to book in advance - just show up on the evening!

About Warrington Toastmasters

Warrington Toastmasters is a fun, friendly, public speaking club based Warrington. We meet every Monday (except Bank Holidays), arriving at 7:00 - 7:15pm for a prompt 7:30pm start and usually finishing around 9:30 - 10:00pm.

It's a friendly, supportive environment where members get the chance to prepare and deliver speeches, as well as build off-the-cuff speaking skills. We follow a well-developed structure and our meetings contain lots of mentoring and feedback from fellow members.

Warrington Toastmasters is affiliated to Toastmasters International, a non-profit public speaking organisation with over 13,500 clubs worldwide, aimed at developing communication and leadership skills for anyone who needs to give speeches or presentations.
