JANUARY 4, 2007 - BETHESDA - There were 13 of us meeting at La
Madeleine. I was at the Processes table, where it was a bit of
work at times but we did break through and make progress
there. I enjoyed meeting some first-timers and some new-to-me
members. Nolen, Susan, Jim, Gary, and Paulla joined me for the
processes. Leslie facilitated the "quotes" table where
Marsha, Donald, Pete, Lissa and her husband (sorry, I can't
recall your name!) and Art discussed living the Law of
Attraction. Here's what folks wrote afterwards:

Donald - "I really enjoy doing these meetups. It is so much fun
to talk with other people about the Abraham teachings."

Jim - "I made progress on the processes. The exercise was worth
the effort and I would like to keep the option available for
future meetings."

Marsha - "Great evening. Great quotes. Just as it happens in
Reston, the discussion followed the quotes. I love it when that
happens. Lots of good insights."

JANUARY 7, 2007 - RESTON - Dawn led a guided meditation, and
then Marsha facilitated the meetup. Thirteen people attended
and shared success stories. Here are the comments they posted

Dawn - "Wonderful as always. :)"

Ronni - "We kept the whole group together in spite of its size,
which I think worked very well this time. It eliminated that
feeling that you might be missing something powerful and
dynamic that could be going on in the other group(s), even if
you're happy with your own."

David - "We had a good time at the event. Thanks!"

Judy - "I thoroughly enjoyed my first meeting with this group,
and it was an enriching experience. Everyone was friendly and
welcoming. Dawn's guided meditation set the tone for the
afternoon. I hope to attend as often as I can. Thanks!"

Marsha - "Great meetup. Lots of newbies (at least, new to the
meetup). Great synchronicity, as usual -- people getting quotes
they needed, quotes following the discussion. Some of us
retired to the coffee shop afterwards to keep things going.
Very nice."

Jim - "Good Group. The interaction was excellent. I
particularly enjoyed meeting the new members and learning from
their Abraham insights."

Joanne - "A big group - lots of newbies - FABULOUS quotes! It
was great!"

JANUARY 14, 2007 - ELLICOTT CITY - A big thank-you to Cheryl
for taking the initiative to resume meetups in the Baltimore
area. We had a rousing turnout. Our usual venue in Ellicott
City is temporarily closed, and Debbie Jensen suggested we try
the Old Mill Bakery. Well, when I walked in the door and saw
what a tiny place it was, I immediately went to Plan B. Wait,
there was no Plan B! What to do?

I went outside to see if there was a bigger place nearby.
Didn't look good. Went back inside and pondered how we might
manage with a processes table and a quotes table. Then all I
could do was make the best of it. At that point I was
expecting 7 people. Guessing we might have a few no-shows, I
figured it would somehow work out.

Well, we had nine people(!) and it indeed worked out quite
nicely as folks at other tables left and we were able to
arrange ourselves comfortably. When all was said and done, I
have to say that there are some solid pluses to this venue. No
music (yay!), and the place is laid out in a way that our two
tables had a nice separation and relative privacy. I'm up for
giving it another go here in February.

I was at the quotes table along with Amy, Mary, Sharon, and
Debbie J. The processes table included Ronni, Cheryl, Debbie
M., and Claudia.

As for feedback, here's what they said:
Cheryl - "I felt uplifted by the community and help in working
the processes. Looking forward to the next meet up."
Claudia - "I found the meetup to be very up lifting. I could do
this every week!"

JANUARY 21, 2007 - RESTON - Dawn facilitated this meetup. Snow
changed many a plan that day but five Abrahamers met at La

Dawn - "Quotes and stories around the fire, snow outside. Good
times. :)"

Marcia - "It was just terrific, even though there were only 5
of us (due to the snow) ... a really warm sharing of personal
experiences illustrating the Abraham quotes!"

Jim - "Five hard- core Abe Heads met in Reston at La Madeleine
in a snow-storm and, for me, the magic of the messages were
worth the effort to get there. Jim, Gary and Dawn were joined
by Marcia who brought Laura to the table after meeting her in
the parking lot. As usual, the quotes summed up and answered
the previous questions discussion. The size of the group
enabled us to explore each question thoroughly and it was a
good meet-up."

FEBRUARY 3, 2007 - ALEXANDRIA - It was our annual Krispy Kreme
meetup. Yah, I know it's not the coziest venue but I needed an
excuse to drive there for some donuts. (Note: this may be the
last one, now that I've discovered the Krispy Kreme in
Rockville!) Okay, back to the meetup. It started out as a 2-
person meetup with Maria from King George joining me. Soon
Laura came in, and by the time she got a cuppa, Cassie was
there too. Lovely surprise when Susan joined us from Bethesda
(love it when our members drive to different areas for this).
Jason brought a bright energy with him, and Sandy was bubbling
with questions. In fact, this little meetup got so big (7
people!) we couldn't fit in one booth and had to spread out to
two different tables. When our time was up I had to run off to
a family event but I was the only one leaving...folks just
wanted to stay longer. Here are some comments:

Sandy: "It was great! Just wish we had more time."
Cassie: "It just FELT good to be there chatting with
everyone! Lots of fun, energetic, inspiring -- the time went
too fast -- I could have sat and talked a few more hours."

FEBRUARY 4, 2007- RESTON - Nine people attended the meetup in
Reston. Here's what they wrote:

Marsha: "Great meetup! Very interesting quotes. Good
discussion. It's always fun to get to know newbies. And as
usual, the quotes were following the discussion. Fun!"

Jim: "Good group. Lots of creative energy and active
participation. "

Dawn: "Fun as always. :)"

FEBRUARY 11, 2007 - ELLICOTT CITY - I enjoyed meeting new
people, as well as seeing Amy, Mary and Claudia again. Felt
like I already knew Steve but good to shake hands with him and
say hello. I sat at the Processes Table and didn't get much
time in with those at the Quotes table. I look forward to
chatting with Melanie next time. It was wonderful to see Julie
again, and so good to meet her husband John. I enjoyed Ronni's
recounting of how a difficult situation resolved itself
seamlessly. Steve wrote afterwards, "As a newbie, I thought
that the quote-sharing was pretty nice... I'm just starting the
processes, so I probably don't have much to share in that arena
just yet. Nice people, for sure. Seems very enthusiastic &
mindful... I will attend again!"

FEBRUARY 18, 2007 - RESTON - Thirteen attended (according to
the photo!), and here's what some of them wrote:

Marcia - "The group was larger than we expected, which was
great. We started out with Dawn's guided meditation (using a
new approach she was inspired to try) ... a truly wonderful,
enlightening, relaxing experience. Next, we decided to discuss
the Abraham quotes as one group rather than split up, which
worked really well (much to my surprise). There was a lot of
sharing and laughing ... and as usual, I learned a great deal
from the discussion. What fun!"

Holly - "So interesting to listen to collective perspective. I
left feeling very connected and peaceful...a unique feeling...
when I think that I knew no one when I arrived. Awesomely
perfect. I will be back...."

Dawn - "Great as always ! Lots of new people :)"

Marsha - "Awesome meetup. Started with a great meditation led
by Dawn, who helped us to relax into our well being. Very
Abraham. We had a great combination of newbies and regulars. As
often happens, person after person said the quote they got was
perfect for them. And as usual, the quotes followed the
discussion. Most of us stayed past the normal end time -- they
had to kick us out of the meeting room at 4:45. A perfect way
to spend the afternoon after being house-bound all week due to
the ice storm."

Joanne - "A wonderful mix of people, old and new! We had an
Abraham ball!"

Jim - "A great group of regular and new Abraham students that
enlivened and uplifted the conversation. The quotes that Marsha
contributed were instrumental in evoking thoughtful
discussions. I'm glad I went. "

FEBRUARY 21, 2007 - NORTH ROCKVILLE - I get a kick out of a
bunch of us getting together in the middle of the afternoon on
a weekday! Donald was waiting when I arrived. Soon Leslie came
in (then disappeared to get some grub from next door; Mayorga
has great coffee but not much in the way of eats). Dave and
Lissa arrived and we settled in as Marsha joined us, bringing
the quotes with her (thanks, Marsha!). A little later Monica
came in and that made us complete. Great fun to discuss
Abraham quotes and living the law of attraction. Marsha wrote,
"Great meetup! This venue is always nice and cozy, so there was
lots of good sharing. Great conversation. It's always nice to
see things in a slightly different way, due to the perspectives
of others. Lots of food for thought."

FEBRUARY 22, 2007 - BETHESDA - Good to see Jim, we used to both be at every meetup and now we seem to be at different ones, but here we were. Nice to catch up with Art, and to see Kim again. I've long enjoyed Kai toasting me with his coffee cup (in his photo) and was pleased to meet him at last. Medara completed our group, and she brought her Secret-charged energy with her.

The six of us stayed at one table for processes, and it worked a bit differently than usual. Normally we do a quick process together, then we each use a worksheet and work on our own issue, then we share the results. This time we worked the process together as a group for the whole time. Not surprisingly, we all had the same schtuff to work on, so it was kind of a group process. Afterwards Kim wrote, "I learn so much each time. Thanks for helping me clarify my stuck issues. Everyone is so encouraging and non-judgmental. Terrific!"

Thanks, Kim. And hey, congratulations on starting the DC Declutter and Energy Alignment meetup group!
