Let's Wine & Dine; Tax Day Approacheth

Let's meet for dinner and drinks and a little frivolity before heading back to work and the impending Tax Day. Rated one of the better piano bars in the area, the Banana Café has a fun and colorful atmosphere with a cuisine that reflects the owners experience of having lived in Cuba, Puerto Rico and his many visits to Mexico. Zamorano, a self-taught artist, began to experiment with color and the human form, at the early age of ten, It's in the intensity of his use of color that he demonstrates a close affinity with his Caribbean heritage.

Well, I seem to have ended up in the hospital for a few days, so will have to miss this event.

Afraid I'm not going to make it - must have picked up a bug on the red eye Friday. Thought I would feel better after a nap but - not so much. See you next time.

The metro is a very good option. Any where near a cherry blossom tree will be a crush of people.

I just realized that this weekend is cherry blossoms. Will it even be possible to drive to this restaurant in any reasonable length of time?

Perhaps the metro is the way to go. I seldom use the metro, but there is a station just two blocks away.
