We will be having a general round table discussion about Unity3D, so bring you questions and tips.
I'll have a Tumbleweed Express Prototype with me and in case anyone is interested, our team is recruiting: http://www.dirigiballers.blogsp...![]()

This looks very exciting. I've forwarded the information to my students at Mason as well.
Also, this past summer I put out a book on making game characters in Blender and importing them to Unity: http://www.amazon.com/Game-Char...
I'd be happy to do demos if that's something people would be interested in.
Cheers!

I've prepare a short "lecture" on string manipulation and performance considerations for the meeting. Which will be interesting to the programmers among us, but I'd also like to do something for the artists. Does anyone have any ideas or requests for a topic I could cover that would be interesting for artists? Or perhaps someone wants to volunteer?

Hey guys, I am currently working on scientific animations in the last almost two years. Before that I worked for game development company on high&low-poly modeling, character animation and environment design. Then I taught film making and game design for 3 years.
Do you know any opportunity in our industry? Please let me know. I deeply appreciate any info.

Hey guys, all the topics you mentioned are exactly what I am interested. I am so excited about it.
MrPhil, I come from Columbia, MD, which is kind of far. Maybe I will be half an hour late. So apologies in advance.

I am interested but I have a pretty hectic schedule and it's a bit of hike out to the meetup location.

Most of my work is on my desktop. Would it be sufficient to bring just the basic over view of my current work and issues on the laptop instead of the actual project?

I've asked for a projector to be provided, so people can bring laptops to talk to their projects, problems and ideas.
