We are building a network of local entrepreneurs, inventors, and seasoned business people to share tips and problem solving techniques, get advice on business models, emerging technologies, marketing strategies, profitability or any other business issue. A general topical meeting will be scheduled for the first Monday evening from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm of each month.

Meet other business people who may have faced similar issues who may be able to assist you. Develop relationships for strategic partnering opportunities or for anything else you choose. This group is for business people looking for answers and not just a place to swap business cards.

The Hagerstown Innovation and Entrepreneur Meetup Group was created by the Technical Innovation Center to provide growth oriented technology and employer based firms of all types and industries a regularly scheduled outlet to discuss issues of mutual concern in a non-sales pitch atmosphere. Small business owners, individuals considering entrepreneurship, and others are encouraged to join this group and to take advantage of the resources Hagerstown and Washington County have to offer. There are no dues and members can drop-in and drop-out as their schedules dictate. Ultimately, it is hoped that topical subgroups might be formed for those who wish to discuss highly specialized or complex issues such as IT, Biotechnology, Technology Transfer and commercialization.

Members should understand that this Meetup group is for creation and discussion of issues of importance to the business community and not a venue for direct solicitation of business.
