I spent an amazing year in Edinburgh, Scotland. While there, I was a member of a creative writing group where I met some fantastic writers. I want to start a similar group in the DC area because I know we have many great writers in the area as well. So here we are. The group brings together writers of all ages and from all walks of life. Whether you are a new writer or have published, all are welcome.  If writing is your life, search for a group no longer.  The format is writers will bring no more than 4 typed double spaced pages to read out loud for comments and feedback.  Please check the website each week to see how many attendees there are, so that you can bring copies so that we may read along with you. You are also welcome to upload files to the website.  File upload is located under the "More" tab.

Meetings are held at the Bread and Chocolate on Connecticut Avenue.  Also, if you plan to attend please RSVP so I can let the restaurant know how many to expect. Just ask the manager on duty for the writers group and they will send you over.   We will be towards the back of the cafe at several tables shuffling papers about.  Hope to see you there!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
