I spent an amazing year in Edinburgh, Scotland. While there, I was a member of a creative writing group where I met some fantastic writers. I want to start a similar group in the DC area because I know we have many great writers in the area as well. So here we are. The group brings together writers of all ages and from all walks of life. Whether you are a new writer or have published, all are welcome.  If writing is your life, search for a group no longer.  The format is writers will bring no more than four typed double spaced pages or 3 poems to read out loud for comments and feedback.  Please check the website each week to see how many attendees there are, so that you can bring copies so that we may read along with you. The meetings are held at the La Madeleine in Bethesda on Old Georgetown Road.  La Madeleine is across the street from the  Bethesda Metro .  We usually sit in the last dining room, towards the back of the cafe at one of the larger wooden tables tables shuffling papers about.  Hope to see you there!
