2012 National Coho Conference: The Sequel

Couldn't make it to the national conference in Oakland last June?

Not to worry! Mid Atlantic Cohousing brings the conference to you! Attend a two-hour get together catching up on workshops presented at the conference.

Special guest: Raines Cohen, Cohousing Coach, East Bay Cohousing founder and regional organizer (San Francisco, CA) will be at this event sharing his experiences of the conference and cohousing throughout the country.

When? Sunday, July 22, 2012, 2p-4p at a Washington, DC cohousing community just 1.5 blocks from a metro stop. As this is in a private home, address and directions sent upon registration.

Come to learn or come to share.

Cohousers from our area who went to the conference will report on the sessions they attended. If you would like to make a presentation please email Ann Zabaldo at:

Tell her what session(s) you'd like to share with others.

And they are varied! Everything from legal issues to emergency preparedness to affordability to workshare to getting a group off the ground.

If you came to this event last year you'll remember how much fun it was. If this is your first time attending, you're in for a treat!

Meet cohousers organizing new groups and those with homes or lots to sell.

Something for everyone!

A little cramped for time, or maybe just too much information for 2 hours.

There were so many workshops I didn't get to attend. I'm looking forward to catching up on the ones I missed!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
