This meet-up is being organized as a place to bring together adventurous people who like to travel and want to find other like minded people to travel with. While the focus of this group is on single travelers, couples or those with couch potato type significant others are welcome to join in events. Please feel free to use the forum to post ideas about trips or about the organization of this meet-up.

Organizers of events held by this meet-up are neither experts nor instructors. Events such as whitewater rafting, scuba, or hiking are inherently dangerous. All participants are strongly advised to take approved instructional courses, and to learn about safety, self-rescue, hypothermia, and risks associated with their chosen event. Before undertaking an event, the participant agrees that they will review any medical concerns with an appropriate medical provider to determine whether their condition limits their ability to participate. Participant should be in adequate physical condition for the event and agrees to that EACH INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS OR HER OWN SAFETY AND AGREES THAT ORGANIZER(S) OF ANY EVENT HELD WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY OR HARM WHICH ARISES OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN ANY EVENT(S) HELD BY THIS MEET-UP.
