Since last month, we were supposed to do a Virginia brunch get-together but it ended up being lunch items only, we are doing a brunch re-do! Of course, we are changing VA neighborhoods so we can visit a different area of the Commonwealth. Last month, we checked out Old Town... this time, we are heading to North Arlington – we’ll be hanging at a popular, highly-rated brunch spot located in an historic art deco building in the heart of downtown Clarendon that is a favorite among local residents. The restaurant serves locally sourced, classic French bistro cuisine and is an Open Table Diners’ Choice Winner of “Great for Brunch.”
I would like to do some trip planning at this meetup (all meetups in March)… so If you are looking for a trip to go on this Fall or next year, then definitely come out to talk about specific destinations, time frames/availability, and other trip ideas. Of course, please just join us simply to chat generally and continue to get to know your fellow Gen Xers - as potential new friends and traveling companions!
There aren't many meetups in Virginia (& probably won't be another one for awhile)... so if you are a VA resident, definitely take advantage of the Commonwealth outings that are scheduled - like this one! :) Hope to see you there!
Closest metro is Clarendon Metro on the Orange Line. Parking is mainly street parking, but shouldn’t be too much of an issue at brunch time. There’s a parking garage about 4 blocks away (Colonial Parking - 3033 Wilson Boulevard) that charges a flat $5 fee on the weekends.
